Nerds United: NPC Info (some bullying mentions in here as well as some abuse mentions)

Starting in late December of 2021, Niina was approached by a nerdy outcast from one of the high schools in Bavan. This girl was bullied by a group of popular girls, the victims of Niina's first feedings.

Basically, this started that a small group of outcasts latching themselves onto Niina for protection. Sometimes pointing her towards an adult or fellow teenager that should be frightened off or eaten (in the case of adults, Niina has sworn off eating teenagers).

This post is basically a post of quick profiles for reference of this group. As well as any info for them going forward.

...And because Niina's a dumb Fog follower, she does try to preach to them. It works somewhat.

Brita Stahle

The girl that started all this. A junior, older than Niina. Was bullied by Maja and company for numerous reasons since she was young. Maja was punished by a teacher for bullying her but was about to seek revenge when Niina hunted her down.

Quite devoted to Niina, despite being older. Quiet but vindictive. Knows she shouldn't be happy that Maja was eaten but feels that it was justified. Isn't afraid of monsters.

Niina honestly isn't sure what to think of her but went along with her because she seemed to be the sort of girl that trouble follows.

Turned into a Shadeling during the January 2023 event. Might want to become a monster again.

Varg Wiklund

Freshman. Brita's cousin. Had to miss a lot of school in his early years due to a car crash. Loved playing sports before the accident. Since then, has started writing poetry by himself. Tall, scraggly boy.

While his previous injuries keep him from strenuous physical activity, he felt that he couldn't do anything to stop Maja's bullying. Doesn't quite trust Niina and monsters. Followed Brita to make sure she didn't get into more trouble.

Has a crush on Kai. (May have used Brita as an excuse to keep an eye on them.)

Kai Brunn

Non-binary sophmore. Childhood friend of Varg. When they heard of Brita's plans from him they followed quickly. Is a bit of a thrill seeker.

Likes adventure stories. Definitely plays the Ryslig version of roleplaying games. Enjoys the company of monsters.

Liv Hamner

[northeworld]

A meek junior. If pressed, she'd say she's Brita's best friend. Doesn't like her friend's vindictive streak and would have preferred if the bullying ended peacefully. Wanted the rest of the group to leave monsters alone.

Might be jealous of the attention Niina's getting from Brita. (Definitely jealous.) Despite that, she's proud of her mathematical prowess and is a little smug about the fact that she knows more about math than a simulacrum.

Donat Norberg (abuse mentions)

A thirteen year old boy that went to Niina to get rid of his abusive older brother, Arvid. Arvid was eventually eaten by Chiaki Nanami with help from Niina.

Meek and reserved. Doesn't mind monsters but more abrasive personalities puts him on edge. Wants to pet a manticore.
